Where All About TEXAS Cooling and Heating is the better fit

There are real situations where the honest answer is to call them, not us.

  • Geothermal, solar A/C or surge protection. Their site lists all three as services. None of them is on our list, and we would rather send you to a shop that does the work than learn it on your house.
  • A breakdown at two in the morning or on a Sunday. All About TEXAS Cooling and Heating advertises 24/7 emergency service. Comfort Pros does not run after-hours dispatch; our Sunday calls wait for Monday morning. If the house is unlivable tonight, a company that answers tonight is the right call.
  • You want American Standard equipment, or you already own it. Their air conditioning page says they install American Standard and can install any brand. We install Carrier. If you have a strong preference for American Standard, or a system under an American Standard warranty that you want the installing dealer's people to keep servicing, that is their lane.
  • You are inside the Austin city limits. They list Austin as a service city. Our coverage runs north and west of it: Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Round Rock, North Austin and the Lake Travis side.
  • A shop with a long track record. Their site states over 34 years in the industry. Comfort Pros opened in 2018. If years in the trade is the thing you weigh most, that difference is on the table.

Where Comfort Pros is the better call

  • You want a Carrier system, installed and registered by the dealer. We are a Carrier factory authorized dealer. Equipment we install is registered for manufacturer warranty coverage at the point of installation, and the crew is factory trained on the product lines we sell. Details are on our Carrier dealer page.
  • You want to know the hours before you call. We schedule Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 3pm, Saturday billed the same as a weekday, and we give a real arrival window. We post the hours we can staff and hold to them.
  • You want the system sized from a load calculation. Our AC replacement visits start with a load calculation on the house, not a rule of thumb or a copy of the old unit's tonnage.
  • You are in Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Lago Vista, Jonestown or on the Lake Travis side. Those are listed service areas for us and are not named on their site.
  • You want a tune-up that is not a sales call. Our maintenance plan is two visits a year with priority scheduling and a parts discount, and if a ten-year-old system is running fine, that is what you hear.

Both companies are licensed by the State of Texas and both are based in Leander. The right choice depends on what you need done and when you need it done. If it is in our lane, we will say so; if it is not, we will say that too.
