Services
Comfort Pros Heating & Air Conditioning provides HVAC repair, installation, and maintenance services for residential and light commercial customers in Leander, TX and the surrounding area. All services are performed by licensed and insured technicians. We hold a valid Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor (TACL) license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
By scheduling service with Comfort Pros, you agree to these terms of service.
Estimates and pricing
We provide written estimates before any work begins. You will not be charged for work you have not approved in writing or verbally during the service call.
- Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
- The final invoice reflects the approved estimate plus any additional work you authorize during the service call. We will discuss any additional scope before proceeding.
- A diagnostic fee applies to service calls. This fee is disclosed upfront when you schedule and is applied toward the cost of the repair if you proceed with the work through Comfort Pros.
- If you choose not to proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee is due at the time of the visit.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and check. We do not accept cash for commercial transactions.
Financing options may be available for new equipment installations and larger repairs. Ask your technician for current terms and the application process before you commit to any work.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of service may be subject to a late fee.
Warranties
We stand behind the work we perform and the equipment we install.
- Labor warranty. All repair work is warranted for 1 year from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within that period due to our workmanship, we will return at no additional labor charge.
- Equipment warranty. New equipment warranties are per manufacturer terms. As a Carrier factory authorized dealer, Carrier equipment we install is covered under Carrier's full factory warranty. Warranty terms vary by product — we will provide documentation at the time of installation.
- Warranty claims. All warranty claims require the original service invoice as proof of service. Warranties are non-transferable and apply to the original service address.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, deferred maintenance, unauthorized modifications, acts of nature, or conditions unrelated to the original service.
Scheduling and cancellation
We schedule service within arrival windows, not exact times. We will communicate your arrival window when your appointment is confirmed and will contact you if we are running significantly outside that window.
- Cancellations with less than 2 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. We appreciate as much notice as possible so we can offer that time to another customer.
- Emergency and after-hours service calls are subject to additional fees that will be disclosed before we dispatch a technician.
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as early as possible if a reschedule is necessary.
Limitation of liability
Comfort Pros performs thorough diagnostics before beginning any work. However, HVAC systems are complex and pre-existing conditions not identified or not identifiable during a service call are not our responsibility.
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed under the applicable work order.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by deferred maintenance, aging equipment, conditions outside the scope of the service call, or conditions that were present but not discoverable during the diagnostic.
- We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage from a pre-existing refrigerant leak, mold resulting from pre-existing moisture issues, or equipment failure due to age or conditions unrelated to our work.
Governing law
These terms of service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from services provided by Comfort Pros Heating & Air Conditioning shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Williamson County, Texas.
